eustace winner except he’s the protagonist of tsukihime
(kay is immortal dw)
>When he comes back to reality, he promptly had a heart-attack and dies. What a short visual novel!
>I do really like the concept of Kay being a more literal Yatagarasu, come back to Japan to show the truth to people (maybe about Eustace's ~*~situation~*~) but...hmm... I can't really decide what kind of haywire should be in Eustace's head to make him Like That. I'll have to daydream more
>TSUKIHIME SPOILERS It would be easy and simple to blame his dad for doing something fucky, but I also wonder if it would be better to have it be hereditary. I'm wondering what the trigger should be tho. Something that would make sense for Kay to be a target...
>I can't decide!! Maybe it would be easiest to just say it's Dad's fault somehow. There's no way I can beat the original plot with this AU but the goal was just to get Eustave in his own little *situation* so I am satisfied
>Something something gap moe PFFFT does that term even apply here
>But anyways I really do like the concept of something horrible yet completely out of Eustace's control happening to him. He's a brave kid and I feel like having something like this would actually make him grow in a really interesting way. I believe in his ability to rise to a call to action
>So if he DOESN'T have a heart-attack and die after waking up, then I think the story that comes after would be really telling. He'd be in a panic, of course and likely give in to his fate... I can imagine him simply sitting there and crying for days, which would be enough time for Kay to resurrect
>I think he'd likely "give up" and be unable to do anything under the guilt. He wouldn't even think about running or trying to cover it up. He'd just go full catatonic until Kay opens the door of the apartment and screams at him "WHAT THE FUCK!!!!"
>Kay's an angel so if she found him there, sitting in a pile of his own misery, she'd switch gears from anger to pity+curiosity very quickly. Arc's a funny person in how she responded in an otherworldly way, but Kay, a messenger of the gods and not quite a god herself, would be more human for sure
>At least I like to think that way! In our world the Yatagarasu is 100% god but maybe to herself, she's not, leading her to act more human. Maybe because she's supposed to be the ambassador, the will of heaven, and therefore requires some cultural sensitivity -> acts very human
>(he didn't move an inch except to cry harder)
>Key plot divergence would be that I don't think Eustace would have any special abilities, but Kay would be even stronger than Arc (being a higher existence than the planet) so the dynamic would be more of, Kay forces Eustace to stay in her sights until they figure out wtf is wrong with him
>Kay's objectives would probably have nothing to do with hunting like Arc and so the story would steer far away from action and more towards an investigative tale, as is ace attorney
>I just want to see them go on adventures and for Kay to be his big sister figure...wah... I'm pandering to myself, but this entire scenario was that from the start. What kind of fan out there would think "yeah let's have Eustace produce 17 pieces of meat as well"
>I'm soooo aaaugh (not normal) Want to see the meeting and the stalking part too oh no I'm getting possessed by the (tsukihike spoilers) and I must draw Eustace being fucked up and scared about it
>Shiki: white woman spotted
Eustace: kemono spotted
Me: pitiful twink who I want to see grow into a handsome and brave man spotted
